Michael Bedford is an alumnae of the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin.  A graduate of Elgin High School, Michael attended the Club while in middle school.  "I really liked making friends at the Club" says Michael.  "But more importantly," he adds with a smile, "the Club kept me out of trouble after school!"

Michael is now a private in the US Army, his unit stationed in Sycamore.  He is even considering a career as a youth development professional in the future.

We are proud of Michael as he serves our country!
